Aston Villa striker Andreas Weimann has joined Watford on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old Austrian made his Barclays Premier League debut on the opening day of the campaign but suffered a serious ankle injury a few days later in the Europa League clash with his former club Rapid Vienna.
Weimann made an impressive comeback with two goals in the reserves' 10-1 victory over Arsenal last Monday and the club now hope he will gain valuable first-team experience at Vicarage Road.
Watford are enjoying a good season under Malky Mackay and currently sit sixth in the Championship table after a run of six straight wins.
