As a Liverpool fan, Steven Gerrard will want nothing more than to see his former club win the Premier League title this season.
But it absolutely won't be at the expense of his Aston Villa team when the Reds arrive at Villa Park on Tuesday night.
Villa won 3-1 against Burnley in their last outing at the weekend and are within touching distance of a first top half Premier League finish since 2011 if they end the season well.
Here's a look at the starting XI Gerrard could pick...
Aston Villa predicted lineup vs Liverpool (4-3-1-2)
GK: Emiliano Martinez - A 12th Premier League clean sheet of the season will be tough to come by here and he will likely have been outstanding if it happens.
RB: Matty Cash - Has been undroppable all season for two different managers - and this is only his second year as a top flight player.
CB: Ezri Konsa - Won't have a proper 'number nine' to face up against so will have to play with plenty of awareness and concentration.
CB: Tyrone Mings - The skipper hasn't missed a game since January and has an important role to play if Villa are to come away with anything.
LB: Lucas Digne - The former Everton man will be keen to make an impact and comes into this game off the back of only his second Premier League assist in Villa colours.
DM: Calum Chambers - With Jacob Ramsey still expected to miss out, a more defensive-minded presence in midfield could limit Liverpool.
CM: Douglas Luiz - Will get stuck in to try and break up Liverpool's attacking rhythm, which may limit other parts of his game.
CM: John McGinn - Needs a disciplined and tireless performance at the centre of midfield, particular if a lack of natural width threatens to leave Villa's full-backs exposed.
AM: Emiliano Buendia - Creating chances isn't going to be difficult, so the Argentine needs to try and play between the lines to feed his forwards.
ST: Ollie Watkins - Fresh off scoring his 10th Premier League goal of the season, Watkins will be high on confidence and keen to keep adding to that tally.
ST: Danny Ings - Arguably still has a point to prove against his former club after injuries and a lack of chances wrecked his time as a Liverpool player.
