Villa have been drawn alongside Hamburg, Ajax, Slavia Prague and MSK Zilina in Group F of the UEFA Cup league stages.
And it's Dutch giants Ajax, who provide the first test as they come to Villa Park on October 23.
That massive game is followed by a trip to Prague on November 6 and MSK Zilina visit the Midlands on December 4.
Villa finish the group stages with a trip to Germany to take on former Spurs boss Martin Jol's Hamburg side on December 17.
But, it's the game against Ajax which dominates the thinking of the fans.
The games against Litex and Hafnarfjordur were built up as 'Nights to remember' but this is the big time.
Those clashes were just warm up acts compared to the Dutch main event.
Martin Laursen and co will have to beware of Klaas Jan Huntelaar, who is one of the most predatory strikers in world football.
But those sort of battles are what make European football so eagerly anticipated and Villa have been anticipating it for some time now.
