Villa youngster Nathan Baker has been banned from attending the Carling Cup final at Wembley after being caught selling his ticket allocation.
Defender Baker was given five tickets to hand out to family and friends for the final against Manchester United, but he instead chose to flog them on an auction site.
The 18-year-old was offered £500 for the quintet but he eventually managed to garner £200 for each of them.
However, it all back-fired on him as the club found out and quickly took away the allocation. He will now miss the chance to see Villa's first final in 10 years.
Baker is unlikely to be the first person to sell their tickets at inflated prices but as a club figure he is expected to act a little more responsibly.
The former Lincoln loanee has certainly paid the price for his naivety and will now be hoping that his side reach the FA Cup final so that he can make up for his error.
