Defender fit to take on Reds

The Norwegian international has been sidelined for the last two games with an ankle injury, but he is back in the Villa squad for the Premiership clash and looks set to link-up with Olof Mellberg in Villa’s back-four.

Peter Crouch and Stefan Moore are also added to the squad, while midfielder Ian Taylor could return to the starting line-up.
