Wolves have sent the Wales international defender for further tests on an ankle injury he sustained midway through last season and their manager Dave Jones says that the deal is on hold until they receive the results of these tests.
"The medical has shown up a slight problem that the boy's suffered with and it's only right that we get it properly checked out," Wolves manager Dave Jones told the clubs official website.
"We've sent him off to have a proper investigation with one of the country's top specialists and then, hopefully, he will be given the all clear so we can complete the signing.
"He can be a big signing for this club and we are keen for all this to be sorted out and everything to get back on track."
