Delfouneso signs professional deal

England youth starlet Nathan Delfouneso has completed a deal that will tie him to Villa until 2010. The striker has been in fine form in the youth and reserves setup so far this season, meaning he fully deserves the professional deal.
Delfouneso put in a commanding performance for the reserves against Derby on Monday night which he capped with a goal.
That was the final proof that Martin O'Neill wanted and it tied in with the fact that Delfouneso turned 17 on Saturday.
The Villa youth academy is one of the strongest in the country and the coaching staff are eager to maintain the best players from a particularly promising group.
