Djemba-Djemba held by customs

The Cameroonian midfielder had been trying to board a Channel Tunnel train with two passengers at Calais but UK officials ordered a search of his Mercedes 4x4. His passenger did not match his passport photo so all three were seized by British immigration officers in the early hours. Djemba-Djemba was held for seven hours before being released with his girlfriend and allowed into the UK while the man they had tried to bring in was refused entry. According to the sun the club blamed a misunderstanding due to an "administrative error".
