DV signs three year deal

The England international striker, who has been keen to secure his future at Villa Park before his present contract expires next summer, has penned a new deal that will see him remain with the club until the summer of 2006.

Vassell the club's official website: "I'm just pleased to get this sorted out. Now I want to get on with playing for Villa and scoring goals."
