The 20-year-old has been a revelation for Martin O'Neill's side this season, transforming himself from squad player to an ever-present; one of the first names on the team sheet as his pace has become one of Villa's main attacking outlets. It has made him popular on the terraces too, and he told the club's official site that the “Gabby Ag-bon-la-hor” chant – to the tune of La Donne E Mobile. “it's weird to hear but it means a lot,” said the Erdington youngster. “I couldn't have imagined anything like this at the start of the season. Now I want to keep it going and when I hear the fans singing, it makes me more determined to do that bit more for them. It really gives me a lift.”
