Gabby Agbonlahor has dismissed the idea that he is involved in a goalscoring competition with his fellow Villa strikers.
The 23-year-old is currently leading the way with nine goals for the Champions League hopefuls, three ahead of James Milner and John Carew.
Agbonlahor finished as top scorer in his first full season with the first team in 2006/07 but has been pipped by Carew in the past two seasons.
The striker, though, is relishing the competition and told Villa's official website: "As long as I'm scoring, that's the main thing.
"If someone scores more than me, that's not a problem because it's good for the team. With myself, John, Emile (Heskey) and Nathan (Delfouneso) in the squad, the gaffer has plenty of options up front.
"You need four or five strikers so there's competition for places - and I can only benefit from having such good players around me."
