The 20-year-old was forced out of action midway through the first half of the goalless draw and will miss the back-to-back games with Manchester United over the next ten days. "Gardner has got a groin problem and it looks as if he will be out for a couple of weeks," said the seemingly omnipresent Martin O'Neill. "It's unfortunate but he's hopefully not out for as long as we first feared. It's shame for Craig who has been doing really well. He's made a very favourable impression."
