Gudjonsson loan deal in doubt

The La Liga side are now looking for Villa to pay twice as much money for the midfielder as was initially agreed.

"Betis have now reneged on the agreement and have not released the necessary international clearance," Villa confirmed on their official website.

Villa are now back in talks with Betis in a last-ditch attempt to resurrect the deal.
