Villa's clash with Hull at Villa Park has been moved to Monday May 4 at 8pm for live television coverage.
The game was originally scheduled for Saturday May 2 with a three o'clock kick-off.
News of the change will most likely anger fans of the Claret and Blue as they will end the season having only seen their side play six times at three o'clock on a Saturday. Incidentally, Villa have yet to lose this season when a game has been played at that time.
Home supporters will be hoping that playing under lights will add extra atmosphere to the occasion but, unfortunately, Martin O'Neill's men have shown themselves to be somewhat scared of the surrounding dark sky during this campaign.
The match-up with the Tigers is likely to be a must win game for both sides and hopefully Villa can show their true colours to the world after a couple of disappointing recent defeats which have been shown live on Sky.
