"We've brought him over because he comes highly recommended and is arousing interest right across Europe," Villa's chief scout Ian Broomfield told the club's official website.
"He wants to come and have a look at Aston Villa as much as we are interested in having a look at him.
"He's here for a few days, but it must be stressed that this is nothing more than a chance to have a look and nothing else has been discussed at this stage."
