Joey won't be going back to Real

"Real Betis have hardly spoken to me since I've been at Villa although I think they've watched a couple of the games," he said.

"Fernandez won't play me at Real Betis so, if he is still at the club next season, then I won't go back.

"I have had no talks with Villa so far about the future and I am just concentrating on the last few games of the season.

"But I am hopeful of being able to stay here. You never know what will happen though. Spanish clubs can be difficult to deal with and the transfers just break down.

"I am sure that Betis are willing to sell me but there have been no negotiations. I would hope that my future is at Villa. I've been treated well by everyone from the start."
