“I’m not going to be ready for tomorrow’s game. I’m making progress, but this game comes a little bit too soon for me. I should be OK next weekend," he told the clubs official website
“It’s a big disappointment, because this is obviously a special game for me. I enjoyed my time with United and had been looking forward to returning with Aston Villa.
“But I cannot rush back when I am not 100 per cent. That would not be right. I have been training, but I’m not ready yet.”
