Lerner ponders stadium sponsor

Sources close to Villa's American owner say the renaming of Villa Park is high on his agenda and although figures as high as £120m have been bandied around, it is more likely to run into tens of millions. Lerner, who celebrated a month in the Villa hot seat yesterday, is keen to tie up a £100m sponsorship deal by Christmas, to give Martin O'Neill funds to sign players when the transfer window re-opens in January.
