The 21 year old, Birmingham born striker, now has a contract that runs until 2009 but he rejected a new offer to extend his stay further. He has hardly been in great form this season scoring, just twice in eight games, but many at the club believe he is a great prospect. At one time he even rivalled Wayne Rooney for the tag as the brightest, young, English talent.
Villa took up the one year option on Moore's contract and it may have been expected that Luke would want to stay for ever more. That seems not to be the case though, and many Claret and Blue fans will be wondering just where he sees his long term future going.
