Veteran goalkeeper Andy Marshall is hoping to join a Championship club after being released by Aston Villa.
Marshall joined Villa on a one-year contract from Coventry City last summer, but he failed to make a first-team appearance for Martin O'Neill's side.
An ankle injury wrecked his time with the Premier League club and he has not been offered an extension at Villa Park.
The 35-year-old has confirmed he has been let go by Villa and is on the look-out for a new team as he looks to prolong his career.
"I've enjoyed my time at Villa, but I've been released now and I'm looking for a new club," Marshall told the Sunday Mercury.
"I still think I've got a few years left in me.
"I'm keeping my options open, but I want to stay at a high level and it would be nice to be in the Championship."
