Moore spurns loan spell

The 21-year-old was a regular before a shoulder injury in September sidelined him for more than four months. He has since returned to fitness, scoring four in four games for the reserves though he has not yet found a way back into the first XI and has attracted a lot of interest from clubs wanting to sign him until the end of the season. Moore insists he is going nowhere, however. "I wouldn't want to go out on loan," he told the BBC. "The manager hasn't said anything to me but I think clubs have asked about me. There are ten games left for Villa this season and I want to be involved."
Moore has not played since injuring his shoulder against Chelsea on 30 September. Villa have since signed John Carew, Ashley Young and Shaun Maloney but Moore said he is unconcerned. "I know there are new players here now but I've seen it before," he said. "I was told that Boško Balaban would block my way when I first got into the team at Villa. I could be involved in the first team now. It's just up to the manager where he involves me."
