"I was delighted and it was totally deserved though I was a bit frightened at half-time when we had dominated the game so much but had not scored," he said after the 2-0 win.
"There have been a few away games for us when that has happened and I was frightened that this was going to be another one.
"I put a challenge to the players after they beat Chelsea on Wednesday as to whether they would look back on this as a turning point.
"We need to maintain the momentum now rather than settle for just winning a few games here, drawing a few there and losing a few."
