Doug Ellis and major shareholder Jack Petchey will meet with representatives of Comer Homes Group this week to decide whether to sell their stake in the Premiership club. The consortium, led by Solihull-based businessman Michael Neville, has made a "preliminary approach" regarding a potential buy-out and O'Leary admits: "It has been an unsettling time".
"We want to get on and start concentrating on the football side because it gives people a chance to look for excuses very easily," he continued, before providing an easy excuse for Monday's tepid 3-1 defeat by Manchester City. "There have been rumours and there were again when we got on the team coach. No-one has spoken to me about it though."
