Phillips eyes derby return

The former England striker was part of a team which also included Aaron Hughes, Lee Hendrie and Gavin McCann and announced he is ready to return to action this weekend. Phillips, who has missed Villa's last four Premiership games with a calf strain, told the club's website: 'Hopefully I'll be 100 per cent fit. I've got a good record in derbies, I scored the winner for Southampton against Portsmouth last season and I've scored the winner for Sunderland against Newcastle a couple of times, so hopefully I can do the same at St Andrews.”
