Samuel future in doubt

The 25-year-old started the season in the Villa team but a thigh injury has limited him to just two starts under O'Neill back in August. He is now back in training and O'Neill told the club's official website he has to be impressed once more if the former England under-21 left-back is to continue his future at the club. "Jlloyd was in the side here and got injured. Now he's coming back, and it's now up to me to assess him properly playing at first-team level," said the Villa manager. Samuel has just six months remaining on his contract.
