The 30-year-old winger’s current deal is set to run out in the summer of 2006 and he is looking to secure his future at the club to remain there until he retires.
Solano seeks to seal new deal
The Peruvian international arrived at the club in a £1.5m deal in January 2004, ending six years at Newcastle United, during which he played over 230 games. He made his debut in a 5-0 demolition of Leicester City and he is currently the top scorer in David O’Leary’s side with six goals from 21 matches this season.
