Marlon Harewood may be something of a terrace hero at Villa Park but it seems that the Newcastle United faithful are failing to see the positive aspects of their on loan striker.
Former Nottingham Forest hit man Harewood was always lauded for his high work-rate when turning out in Claret and Blue but his lack of goals often proved a sticking point.
By dropping down a level to The Championship, it was expected that the 30 year-old would regain some confidence in front of goal and persuade Chris Hughton to keep him on at the club.
However, it seems that Harewood has failed to win many admirers with a writer on fellow fan site 'Newcastle United MAD' describing the player as 'a knacker'.
Nu Mad, as he is known, also preceeded that description with a comment on Harewood's performance against Forest, which the scribe claimed he wouldn't give 'five quid and a box of firelighters for'.
Some Villans recently called for Harewood to be recalled in place of England front man Emile Heskey but they may just be rethinking their demands after reading this.
