Utd Cup Tie To Be Played On The Sunday

Blues will play their home tie against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, 3rd January while Villa entertain the Premier League title holders at Villa Park on Sunday, 4th January - kick-off 12.30pm.

Neither of the ties were selected for live television screening and therefore one of the games had to be moved from the conventional 3pm on a saturday schedule.
