Villa have been handed a favourable tie in the UEFA Cup second qualifying draw.
The Claret and Blue will face Icelandic side FH Hafnafjordur with the first leg to be played at Villa Park on August 14th.
The second leg, to be played on August 28th, is likely to see a change of venue as the Icelandic side will look to reap the monetary benefits of the tie.
Their current stadium, Kaplakriki, is undergoing redevelopment which will take the capacity to 3,500.
But the fixture is likely to be moved to Iceland's national stadium in Reykyavik, Laugardalsvöllur, which holds 15,000.
Villa are likely to take a large following to the Icelandic capital as the club bid to reach the first round proper.
