Healey's agent Mel Stein has confirmed that Villa boss David O'Leary has joined both Sunderland and Everton in the chase for the unsettled Celtic player.
"Aston Villa, Everton and Sunderland are the clubs in the frame at the moment and we will see how things develop in the next week or so," Healy's agent Mel Stein told the Express and Star on Monday. "David O'Leary has made it clear that he is very keen on Colin and that is an interesting development as far as we are concerned because Aston Villa are a big club. "I have to say that any club not interested in taking Colin on a free is out of their box in my opinion.
"I believe he is the new Roy Keane and I don't say that lightly."
