Villa weren't prepared to match Robinson's terms

Villa had a £3.5million bid accepted by the cash-strapped Yorkshire side but the England keeper didn't even get to talk to Villa officials because of the terms on offer.

"I doubt if the deal will be back on because Villa weren't prepared to match his terms at Leeds," said the Villa boss.

"He loves me, but not that much to come."
