Only three WSL fixtures went ahead in gameweek 10 of the 2021/22 season amid the spike in positive COVID-19 tests, with Chelsea vs West Ham, Manchester City vs Reading and Arsenal vs Brighton all postponed.
Manchester United, Leicester and Tottenham were among the six clubs who actually were able to play. Here's a look at how the three games unfolded...
Man Utd 5-0 Aston Villa
Manchester United ended the calendar year in style with a 5-0 thrashing of Aston Villa at Leigh Sports Village, with Ella Toone, Lucy Staniforth and Hayley Ladd all impressing in the win.
Toone gave United an early lead that was doubled from the penalty spot by Katie Zelem. Staniforth got the third early in the second half, before substitute Martha Thomas made it four and Toone rounded off the scoring with her second and the team's fifth.
Villa were second best from start to finish and have now lost six of their last seven WSL games.

Leicester finally snapped a nine-game losing streak to claim their first ever WSL points by beating Birmingham, sending the Blues bottom of the table in the process.
The Foxes have come close to getting positive results at various points since their promotion, only to continually fall just short. But an early strike from Sophie Howard got them on their way in only new manager Lydia Bedford's second game in charge.
Sam Tierney doubled the lead with just under 15 minutes to play, ensuring that Birmingham will now occupy the WSL's relegation place until at least the New Year.

Tottenham finish the calendar year in the WSL's third and final Champions League spot. Spurs had temporarily fallen behind Manchester United by virtue of playing later in the day, but successfully reclaimed third place by beating Everton at The Hive.
Spurs needed goalkeeper Tinja-Riikka Korpela to stop them from going behind in the first half to a long-range strike from Grace Clinton.
They eventually went on to take the lead early in the second half when Jessica Naz fired into the top corner after running at the Everton defence on the left.
