Villa look set to add to their wealth of academy talent in the not too distant future with Cheltenham and Ipswich stars reportedly on the radar.
Strikers Theo Lewis and Connor Wickham are the lads in question with the latter being strongly linked over recent days.
Cheltenham talent Lewis, 18, has risen to prominence thanks to a handful of first team appearances at Whaddon Road at the start of this campaign and he even managed to get on the score sheet against Torquay on November 7.
Wickham, who only turned 16 in March of this year, has started two games for the Tractor Boys so far this season, making seven substitute appearances.
The academy ace managed to net a double on his full first team debut against Shrewsbury in the Carling Cup and since then he has inevitably attracted plenty of Premier League interest.
