Villa's academy side followed up their FA Youth Cup victory against Rochdale with a 1-0 win against Reading on Saturday.
The Claret and Blue youngsters, who beat Dale 4-0 in midweek, were again grateful to their talisman Gary Gardner, as he scored what proved to be the match winner.
The super striker netted a hat-trick last time out and he added to his fine goal record with a well placed free-kick in the 12th minute.
That strike sealed the win and after the game, Villa youth coach Tony McAndrew said his side were 'fantastic'.
Gardner, once again, was the man that provided the decisive touch of class and, with him in the side, Villa look unbeatable right now.
