Aston Villa were beaten 2-1 by League of Ireland side Bohemians in their friendly at Dalymount Park.
Conor Powell lobbed the ball in after a sliced clearance from keeper Brad Friedel to put the hosts ahead in the 20h minute.
Gabriel Agbonlahor and Stewart Downing both went close before the break, but it was substitute John Carew who finally levelled midway through the second half.
However, it was the Irishmen - knocked out of the Champions League qualifiers by Welsh minnows The New Saints - who finished stronger and won it with 10 minutes left when Paddy Madden sent substitute Enzo clear.
