Choirboys boss Lawrie Sanchez has been coming under pressure from home fans after a poor start to the campaign and this display will have done little to placate the club's supporters.
Villa went ahead in the 12th minute when Peter Whittingham scored his first senior goal for the club when he turned home Angel's cross with a 15-yard drive.
Angel scored his first goal just after the half hour when he slammed an unstoppable shot into the far corner of the net after good work by Gavin McCann.
Two goals at the start of the second half killed off Wycombe.
Angel scored the third goal from the penalty spot after Dannie Bulman had felled him and he completed his hat-trick in the 55th minute with a close-range effort after Steve Williams had parried Ulises De la Cruz's initial effort.
Darren Currie fired an effort just over the bar for Wycombe in a rare raid but Villa cruised through the rest of the game and added a fifth goal in the closing stages.
Darius Vassell completed the rout from the penalty spot after he had been brought down by Chris Vinnicombe and Lee Hendrie and McCann almost added further goals in the last few minutes.
