Will Villa be on the level against Arsenal?

Chris Foy from St Helens, the referee for today's game, holds the key for Villa. Too many times over the years have we seen the top four visit Villa Park with their twelfth man the referee. Most referees live in fear of being castigated by the likes of Mr Wenger and Mr Ferguson and therefore unwittingly air on the side of caution when it comes to making decisions against the 'top four'.

Last week we saw Mark Clattenburg have the audacity to stand up to Sir Alex by sending him to the stands. Mark's reward for this action is a weekend without Premiership football. What message does this send out to our referees across the country.

So come on Mr Foy give us a 'level playing field' today. Do not frustrate the home fans with petty decisions against us.

If this happens there is no reason why Villa cannot put up a lively and positive performance against the league leaders.

Rumours are rife that Mr Wenger is interested in a number of the Villa players. Let's hope that the likes of Barry, Laursen, Agbonlahor and Young further enhance their already glowing reputations today. Hands off Mr Wenger our lads are going nowhere!!!

The Arsenal team is currently playing some wonderfully attractive football. I am sure that we are all looking forward to seeing a plethora of footballing skills. It should be an excellent match!!

My prediction for this game is a 1-1 draw, although the Villa side is currently in the mood to surprise Mr Wenger and his lads.

Come on you Villa boys!!!
